  • Adult Psychotherapy

Adults might come to therapy for many different reasons (e.g., social anxiety, trauma resolution, adjusting to a new family or work role). After treatment aims are obtained, you may choose to end services or continue to further deepen the therapeutic process.

The adolescent years are all about juggling responsibilities and emotions as one transitions toward adult independence. Psychotherapy is an excellent place for a teenager's voice to be heard. (If you are under 18 years old, please know that I will need consent from a parent, but we can discuss how involved you would like them to be in the process.)

  • Family Psychotherapy

Like individual therapy, families seek psychotherapy for a wide variety of reasons. Concerns may include, shifts in family structure, adjusting to a new town, or perhaps a family member is struggling, and the family unit wants to strengthen ties in order to provide better support. Goals are commonly to strengthen bonds, gain better clarity of the family dynamic, and improve communication.

There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. -Anais Nin

Sessions: My private practice is primarily for individuals and families seeking weekly, bi-weekly or bi-monthly psychotherapy. Group therapy sessions are held less frequent and are based upon needs and requests.

In-person sessions are held in an office space in Calabasas and remote sessions through HIPAA compliant, encrypted video platforms.

Therapy sessions most typically lasts fifty to sixty minutes.

Before deciding to schedule an appointment, a free brief telephone consultation can be arranged by calling me at (424) 241-0399 or by sending me an email.

Payment: The fee is $200 per session for individuals and families. At this time, I am unable to slide my fee to a lower rate, and I am not taking insurance for new clients. (This status may change next year.) The rates for group therapy are lower and depend on the nature of the group. I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as a form of payment.

Health insurance: Most PPO insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for psychotherapy services. If you have a PPO insurance plan and would like to use this benefit, I can easily submit a superbill to your insurance company.

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend an appointment, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. If not, you may be charged a $75 cancellation fee.

Accessing Administrative Information: For existing clients, please login to the client portal to view consent forms or invoices.
